Yesterday, I made a huge step forward in my adult life... I transferred $$$ to Bill for a down payment on our new condo. Not only is this the largest amount of money I've ever paid for something, but also the first time it was all money that I earned by myself. I was nervous and excited at the same time when I asked the Bank teller to wire transfer the money out of my account. I had been saving that money for over two years and only recently gotten to my goal. I have had to work hard to get my finances under control after a bad break up and multiple stints of joblessness. I am strong enough now to know that I can find a job if this one ends, that I know the importance of spending wisely, and that with support from others, huge goals can be achieved. I look forward to moving into a new place with Bill that is both of ours and I hope it brings us much joy and happiness!
